coaching workshops and trainings
Sessions that help coaches lead with more intention
I speak to coaches, sport organizations, universities, and professional development groups that want to move beyond surface-level learning and explore the deeper layers of coaching.
My workshops and keynote sessions are practical, engaging, and rooted in real-world coaching environments. Whether I’m presenting to a room of coaches, sport administrators, or sport scientists, my goal is always the same: invite curiosity, spark new thinking, challenge assumptions, and support meaningful learning.

“I think you just saved my marriage!” – coach, after participating in a listening workshop (because yes, what’s learned goes beyond just the coaching environment!)
What I speak about
Presentations listed here include in-person and virtual keynotes, as well as workshops, fireside chats, and other presentation formats. If you have a different format or experience in mind, I’d love to hear your idea. I customize every session to your audience, experience level, and organizational goals.
Transformational Coaching
Explore practical coaching behaviors that shape better athletes and stronger leaders. This session focuses on simple actions that elevate performance, relationships, and long-term developments.
Make Feedback Coachable
Learn how to deliver feedback in ways athletes actually understand and can act on. Coaches will leave with tools to increase athlete ownership, clarity, and follow-through after feedback moments.
Values-Based Coaching
Coaching philosophy starts with the coach, not the athletes. In this session, coaches clarify their values and translate them into daily actions, decisions, and a clear vision that shapes culture and trust.
Parents of Successful Athletes
A practical, research-informed look at how parents can best support athletic development, performance, and well-being. This session helps parents navigate their role with clarity, confidence, and perspective.
Culture Building
Build a team culture that sticks because it is intentionally co-created, not imposed. Coaches learn how to define, reinforce, and sustain culture through clear behaviors, routines, and accountability.
Coaching Women Better
Small, intentional changes can dramatically improve how women and girls experience coaching. This session gives coaches evidence-informed strategies to create help female athletes feel supported.
My speaking style
I bring the same values to my speaking engagements that I bring to my coaching work: curiosity, reflection, collaboration, learning, and challenge.
I give coaches a chance to think more clearly, understand themselves more deeply, and leave with ideas they can actually use.
During sessions, participants can expect:
- Practical tools participants can use immediately
- Reflective prompts and questions
- Real examples from coaching environments
- A mix of theory and application
- A supportive yet challenging learning environment
If you’re looking for a session tailored to your coaches, your environment, or a specific challenge, I’m happy to design something custom for your group.
I work with a wide range of sport organizations, from small coaching staffs to large conferences and national events.
My sessions are a good fit for coaching associations, college and university sport programs, high-performance and professional sport groups, school sport systems, sport science and leadership departments, youth sport organizations, and national or regional governing bodies.
You can bring me in for keynote presentations, half-day or full-day workshops, multi-day learning experiences, custom professional development sessions for coaching staffs, or virtual webinars and learning sessions. If your event has a specific theme, challenge, or objective, I’ll work with you to design a session.
